Content At Home Alone Community

Through our experience with these challenges, we’ve come up with an idea to offer a new level of support

We are thrilled that you have built this wonderful community with us, Separation Anxiety Dog Training with Rosee Riggs, in a short space of time. It has such a lovely, celebratory atmosphere. Thank you for all your generous contributions and kindness.

Through our experience with our practical challenges, and the conversations we’ve had per Zoom, we developed the wish to offer a new level of support for people actually doing the Home Alone training.

We want to offer access to more practical support for your individual dog, specifically to those doing the DIAB and/or departure training (Julie Naismith’s method).

A 1-2-1 behavioural plan is always the best option and actually the most cost-effective. However, we know these are tough times and you may not be ready yet to join my premium Content At Home Alone programme.

If that’s the case, we’re proud to offer you the next best alternative … and hope you see it as a no-brainer.

You see, we’ve decided to found a paid membership group.

It will normally cost $97 a month.

However, for those of you joining now from the Separation Anxiety Dog Training Support with Rosee Riggs group, we’ll be making it available for $47 a month. And this price will remain fixed for as long as you want to remain a member of the membership group and do the practical training with your dog!!

The name of the membership group is: the Content At Home Alone Community.

In the members’ group, we’ll…

N

have the same holistic approach to the dogs in our care, but with more guidance regarding your individual dogs. We’ll have posts and, in due course, videos specifically on the practical exercises too.

More direct support: You will be able to submit short video clips for review in the group. This is a useful service if you are unsure about your dog’s body language, whether you could have carried on training in a given situation, or should have stopped earlier. Everybody can learn from fellow members’ training sessions.

I have noticed that a lot of people struggle to find their dog’s real baseline for training

Most clients who come to me don’t realise how early their dogs are being triggered. This is a shame because they often start with built-in flaws in their training. Unintentionally, they are already practising over threshold, and are sad they are not making the progress they hope for.

We can not help fearful dogs by rehearsing fear by mistake, so we need to get this right from the start.

So….. we’ve come up with something really special:

So if you join up to the new members’ group, you have the option of booking a 90-minute professional assessment appointment for $97, if you wish to. Rosee’s assessment appointments are not usually available to anyone other than her clients on my premium Content at Home Alone programme.

A professional assessment ensures you get the correct base-line to start training and I can personally guide you through the DIAB (the first exercise) to prevent errors slipping in. There is no better springboard for your training plan than a professional assessment.

All at your own pace. You can just sign up for the monthly membership and choose not to have an assessment. Or you can decide to book an assessment later, if you feel stuck in your training.

So to recap:

The regular membership will cost: $97 a month but it will be just $47 a month for current members of the Separation Anxiety Dog Training Support with Rosee Riggs group, and will remain at $47 a month – yippee!! – for as long as you remain in the members’ group.

Plus, don’t forget, you have the option of booking a professional assessment with me any time for $97.

Due to the time-intensive support I’ll be offering, I shall be strictly limiting the number of places, and I shall only be reopening to new members every once in a while.

Conditions of entry:

N
alongside keeping to the group rules, of course,
N
you are helping your own dog through a separation related issue and
N
have management (dog care) in place to prevent your dog experiencing further fear episodes.
N
You agree to use exclusively force free methods in all areas of your dog’s life.

So no aversive training of any sort: meaning nothing which startles or hurts your dog, nothing which causes them to be wary, fearful, anxious or intimidated. No tools such as shock collars, prong collars, check chains, anti-bark collars, haltis and head collars.  If you’re in doubt about whether something falls into this category, please ask us and we’ll point you to a better way of gaining your dog’s trust and help them navigate our human world!
